This is just a quick post to share that my husband is very awesome. Yeah, I like to slam him and make fun of him and all that jazz, but truly he is a sweetheart.
A couple years ago we upgraded our cellphones and with our package we could get a very nice phone and a little less nice phone. He got the really nice cell phone and gave it to me. Then the toddler threw it in the toilet.
*sigh*
Well, it is time for upgrades again. I’ve been using this cruddy old LG that has horrible reception and battery power that lasts … oh, maybe 10 minutes.
Last night Hubby ordered our phones. I can’t tell you what he got me because it is too advanced for me to know the name of it. All I know is it is a very, very nice phone (not an iPhone, but really…I would lose that in a week and feel guilty about it for a lifetime) and once again he has sacrificed having something cool so I can have something cool.
And I think that makes him a very cool, very awesome Hubby.
So I wanted to share.
What makes your Hubby awesome and cool?
So he’s not awesome because he keeps batteries in the remote, eats all of the bacon for you, or because he can burp the alphabet to letter ‘g’.
It’s the cell phone splurge that wins your heart, heh?

My husband is so this same way. He does all kinds of things, daily, to let me know how much he loves me. We also just upgraded. The phones we wanted, the only colors that were available at the store where blue and red. He had said, before knowing what was available, that the only color he did not want was blue (or pink, obviously). Well my favorite color in the world is red. Can you guess who got the red and who got the blue? I argued but in the end he won and is now stuck with the unwanted blue phone because he is just that nice and would not give in and be a jerk like I tried so hard to get him to do. He does stuff like that all the time.
Darn those men they always get out of their messes by doing something sweet like this, don’t ya just love to hate them! My husband has a great ability to make me laugh and don’t tell him I told you this but sometimes I don’t know how I’d get along without him. Alright enough gush, back to the tasteless jokes..lol
my husband is pretty bloody cool too. too much red wine to think of the reasons why… but hooray to fab husbands!
I love my iPhone. If I could have sex with it, I probably would. And the fact that it cost so much makes me obsessively careful about keeping it from getting thrown in the toilet.
He fixes my computer whenever it craps out. I have a built in IT department. He also helps his in-laws out when they have IT issues. He is the ultimate nice geek.
That makes my husband cool.
